“From Rome to Chișinău” – Chișinău City History Museum

21 January – 4 February 2021, Chișinău City History Museum. The opening took place on 21 January at 3 pm.

This exhibition of painting and graphic art brought works created in Paris back to the city of the artist’s youth: portraits, still lifes and scenes of everyday city life. The city remains the central theme – its atmosphere, colours and urban landscapes, rendered as dreamlike images drawn from memory. The artist’s path leads through Chișinău, Tallinn, Bucharest and Paris, where her art matured.

The event was organised by the museum under the auspices of the Culture Directorate of the Chișinău Municipal Council.
